Connecting your Shopify Domain

If you're not on a paying plan you will not see the CNAME record for adding an SSL or the A record for redirecting the root domain. Due to this, you'll only see one DNS record.
Removing/deleting any records that have been previously configured can have serious, unintended consequences. If for whatever reason you're uncomfortable making these changes, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Contact Studio Support.
If your domain is managed by Shopify, the below steps can be followed to connect that domain to your Studio account. If you haven't already, please begin this process by reviewing Setting Up Custom Domain within Studio.

Desktop iPhone Android
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Domains.
In the Shopify-managed domains section, click the name of the domain that you want to edit.
Click DNS Settings
If you want to make changes, then you can edit the following DNS settings:
- To add a new record, click Add custom record, select the record type, and then enter and confirm the details.
- To change an existing record, click Actions > Edit beside the record, and then enter and confirm the details.
- To delete a record, click Actions > Remove, and then click Remove again to confirm.
From the iOS Shopify app, tap Store.
In the Sales channels section, tap Online Store.
Tap Domains.
In the Shopify-managed domains section, click the name of the domain that you want to edit.
Click DNS Settings
