Enabling the Gateway in Commerce Manager

For Elastic Path Commerce Cloud, follow the steps below to enable the gateway. To set up the Stripe plugin for Elastic Path Commerce, follow the instructions in Configuring the Plugin documentation.

Prerequisites​

  • Ensure that you are onboarded to Elastic Path Payments Powered by Stripe.
  • Log in to Stripe Dashboard and make a note of your stripe Account ID.

Procedure​

  1. Go to Commerce Manager.
  2. Go to SYSTEM > Store Settings > Payment Gateways. A list of payment gateways that are available is displayed. Initially, the status of Elastic Path Payments powered by Stripe is Disable.
  3. Click Elastic Path Payments powered by Stripe. The Edit Elastic Path Payments powered by Stripe page is displayed.
  4. Enter your Stripe Account ID.
  5. Select Enabled checkbox to make Elastic Path Payments powered by Stripe available in Commerce Manager.
  6. (Optional) Select Test mode checkbox to use test payment method. Test mode checkbox must be cleared to enable Elastic Path Payments powered by Stripe in a production environment.
  7. Click Save. The status of Elastic Path Payments powered by Stripe is now Enabled.
  8. (Optional) Disable Elastic Path Payments powered by Stripe at any time by closing your account or clearing the Enabled checkbox on the Edit Elastic Path Payments powered by Stripe page.
