Building Variations

In order to build child products, you'll first need to create variations, options, modifiers and your parent or base product. From the parent product, you'll associate the desired variations and options, configure option combination rules for any inclusions or exclusions, then build your products.

In this example, we'll demonstrate the variation configuration flow for a product that comes in various tones and patterns: variation builder sample configuration flow

Made A Mistake?

Don't worry!  You can always change your configurations and build your child products again.  You may find you need to reconfigure if you:

  • don't like how you set up your modifiers
  • have new variation options (ex. x-large)
  • deleted a child product you shouldn't have
  • need to include or exclude a specific child product
